WebView2 and Kerberos Support

Smart View 25.100+ supports Kerberos with Edge WebView2. Ensure the required registry key and string values for authentication servers are set on the client for proper operation.

Required Registry Keys for Kerberos Support with WebView2

Starting with Oracle Smart View for Office 25.100, Kerberos is supported with Microsoft Edge WebView2. If you experience issues, ensure that the following required registry key and string values are present on the client machine.

• Registry key:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Edge\WebView2

• String Values:

  • AuthNegotiateDelegateAllowlist—Set to organization authentication server (can contain *)

  • AuthServerAllowlist—Set to organization authentication server (can contain *)

If this key and the string values are not present, create them.
