Configuring the Impact Analysis Environment

To configure the impact analysis environment, navigate to the Work With Software Updates application (P96470W), select Form Exit, and then click Configure Analysis.

Note: You can also access the Revise Software Update Impact Analysis Tracking Enablement form directly from the Update Manager Process page (Configure Impact Analysis).

In the Revise Software Update Impact Analysis Tracking Enablement form, select the target environment and click OK. Note that the Green circle indicates that Object Tracking is enabled for the environment and Red Circle indicates Object Tracking is disabled for the environment. When an ESU is imported into the environment which has object tracking enabled, the system uses this configuration to automatically set up the data for the impact analysis.
