Downloading the ESU from the Update Center

The web deployable ESUs are in the multi-platform format.

To download the Electronic Software Update file (ESU) from the Update Center:

  1. Access the Oracle JD Edwards Update Center.
  2. In the Search section, set these criteria and click Search:
    1. In the Type field, select Electronic Software Updates.
    2. In the Release field, select 9.2.
    3. In the Platform field, select Multi-platform.
  3. Review the search results. Select and download the ESU to your Download Basket.
    Note: The description of the multi-platform ESUs is suffixed with web. For example, ESU_JN19899_7/19/22_web. Only these ESUs can be deployed using the web client.
  4. To download the multi-platform ESU using the Change Assistant, refer to the instructions on Downloading Packages.
    Note: You will need an AIS/REST connection to download the ESU using Change Assistant. For instructions on AIS connection, see the AIS Authorization steps in Installing Change Assistant.On successful download, the system transfers the downloaded file to the EnterpriseOne Software Archive Repository table (F96700R).
