User Defined Objects (UDOs) and Non-User Defined Objects (non-UDOs)

Web OMW provides control of objects in a simple, integrated, graphical user interface for software development. An object is a reusable entity based on software specifications that are created by JD Edwards tools or applications.

Projects that contain only UDOs are able to be promoted on the web client. The option to promote a project will not appear if the project has objects other than UDO type objects.

You can promote Object Libraian objects or Data Objects on the web client. The promotion of those objects is done on the Development Client only.

JD Edwards objects include UDOs, which are also non-Object Librarian objects (for example, Queries, Grid Formats, and Composed Pages). For a complete list of available UDOs, see the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Using and Approving User Defined Objects Guide.
