UX One: Inventory Accounting Manager Page

The Inventory Accounting Manager page (P41001X/W41001XA) enables users to:

  • Improve inventory accuracy by handling inventory to G/L reconciliations.

  • Effectively manage inventory by identifying obsolete inventory.

  • Manage defining cost and price for items for various branch/plants.

To access the UX One Inventory Accounting Manager page, log in to the EnterpriseOne system using the Inventory Accounting Manager role.

Watchlist Alerts

These alerts are based on EnterpriseOne programs. By default, the alerts are set up to use queries that are based on delivered demo data. Each of these queries is associated with a specific program version. To use a different query or call a different program version, you can modify these queries or create new queries that better meet your requirements. Additionally, these watchlists have been set up with specific warning and critical threshold values. You can adjust these values to meet your requirements.

Description

Items with Cost Undefined

This alerts the users about the number of items for which the cost is not defined.

The alert runs on the P41052 program where the Item Number (Cost File) is not defined. The watchlist considers the item costs defined at the branch level.

This alert is based on the Item Cost Inquiry program (P41052).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Item Cost Inquiry form.

The following grid format is available:

  • Basic

Items with Price Undefined

This alerts the users about the number of items for which the price is not defined.

The alert runs on the P41062 program where the Item Number (Price File) is not defined. The watchlist considers item costs defined at the branch level. It considers the item price for the branch level and does not consider the item group and customer group.

This alert is based on the Item Price Inquiry program (P41062).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Item Price Inquiry form.

The following grid format is available:

Obsolete Items

This alerts the users about the number of items that are currently obsolete.

This alert is based on the Item Branch Inquiry program (P41027).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Item Branch Inquiry form. The following form layout is available:

Inventory to G/L Reconciliation Transactions (P4111X/W4111XA)

Use this chart to review the percentage of transactions for a specific G/L date range that have variances between the item ledger and general ledger. This chart displays data for a specific company on a monthly basis for a specified G/L date range.

This chart is based on the Work With Item Ledger program (P4111).

Obsolete Items (P41026X/W41026XA)

Use this chart to review the number of items that are currently obsolete across all branch/plants in a company.

This chart is based on the Item Branch Inquiry program (P41027).
