UX One: Inventory Valuation Analysis Page

The Inventory Valuation Analysis page (P41001X/W41001XB) enables users to:

  • Monitor inventory valuation for the most revenue generating inventory to drive critical business.

  • Review item profit margins across various branch/plants for market trend analysis.

  • Keep track of items to manage inventory expenditure.

To access the UX One Inventory Valuation Analysis page, log in to the EnterpriseOne system using the Inventory Accounting Manager role. When you log in with this role, the system automatically displays the Inventory Accounting Manager page. Click the Inventory Valuation Analysis task on the springboard to access the Inventory Valuation Analysis page.

Watchlist Alerts

These alerts are based on EnterpriseOne programs. By default, the alerts are set up to use queries that are based on delivered demo data. Each of these queries is associated with a specific program version. To use a different query or call a different program version, you can modify these queries or create new queries that better meet your requirements. Additionally, these watchlists have been set up with specific warning and critical threshold values. You can adjust these values to meet your requirements.

Description

Items with Cost Undefined

This alerts the users about the number of items for which cost is not defined.

The alert runs on the P41052 program where the Item Number (Cost File) is not defined. The watchlist considers item costs defined at the branch level.

This alert is based on the Item Cost Inquiry program (P41052).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Item Cost Inquiry form.

The following grid format is available:

  • Basic

Items with Price Undefined

This alerts the users about the number of items for which the price is not defined.

The alert runs on the P41062 program where the Item Number (Price File) is not defined. The watchlist considers item costs defined at the branch level. It considers item price for the branch level and does not consider the item group and customer group.

This alert is based on the Item Price Inquiry program (P41062).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Item Price Inquiry form.

The following grid format is available:

Obsolete Items

This alerts the users about the number of items that are currently obsolete.

This alert is based on the Item Branch Inquiry program (P41027).

When you click the alert, the system displays the Item Branch Inquiry form. The following form layout is available:

Charts

These charts are based on EnterpriseOne programs. By default, the charts are set up to render using queries that are based on delivered demo data. Each of these queries is associated with a specific program version. To use a different query or call a different program version, you can modify these queries or create new queries that better meet your requirements.

Item Profit Margin (P41700X/W41700XA)

Use this chart to review the items for which the profit margin is lower than the margin specified in the menu drawer, for a particular branch/plant in a company. The chart displays data for various items for a particular branch/plant, location, and lot.

This chart compares the unit price and unit cost if price is defined in the primary UoM for that item. If item cost is defined at the item level, it is not considered for comparison. Cost Method from F4105 and Currency Code from F4106 are mandatory to compute single unit cost value and single unit price value to render the chart correctly.

This chart is based on the F4106, F4105, F4101 and F0006 - Join business view (V41065UX).

Inventory Value Percentage of Item by Branch/Plant (P41202X/W41202XD)

Use this chart to review the inventory value of an item, in percentage, for a particular branch/plant.

Cost Method from F4105 is mandatory in the query to have single costing method to derive the unit cost and render the chart properly.

This chart is based on the F41021, F4105, F4101 and F0006 - Join business view (V41021UA).

Inventory Value Percentage of Highest Velocity Item by Branch/Plant (P41026X/W41026XC)

Use this chart to review the inventory value of the most frequently ordered item, in percentage, for a particular branch/plant.

Cost Method from F4105 is mandatory in the query to have single costing method to derive the unit cost and render the chart properly.

This chart is based on the Sales Order Detail - Revisions program (V4211C).

Inventory Value Percentage of Highest Cost Item by Branch/Plant (P41202X/W41202XA)

Use this chart to review the inventory value of the most expensive item, in percentage, for a particular branch/plant.

Cost Method from F4105 is mandatory in the query to have single costing method to derive the unit cost and render the chart properly.

This chart is based on the F41021, F4105, F4101 and F0006 - Join business view (V41021UA).
