Use this processing option to specify the version of the Write 1099 Media (P04515) program for electronic filing of 1099s or to print 1099s using paper facsimile. To create your version of this processing option, you must first copy the version of ZJDE0001 and set the data selection for the company for which you want to run the Write Media Selection program. Then, you need to submit the code specifications on the new version to the server. Finally, you specify your version here in this option.

If you leave this processing option blank, the program uses the default version, ZJDE0001.

2. Pre-Printed Version Blank = XJDE0001

Use this processing option to specify the version of the Write 1099 Media (P04515) to print 1099s in the Pre-Printed format with or without the BIP output. Enter a version with a template associated to print 1099s with the BIP output. Or, enter a version without a template associated to print 1099s without the BIP output. If you copy ZJDE versions, you are using the original Pre-Printed form. If you copy XJDE versions, you are using the BIP Pre-Printed form.

3. Blank-Sheet BIP Version Blank = XJDE0002

Use this processing option to specify the version of Write 1099 Media (P04515) to print 1099s in Blank-Sheet format, with the BIP output. If you leave this option blank, the system will use the default version XJDE0002.

Note: User should specify XJDE0003 for printing the form one per page BIP output.

Caution: To ensure proper working of the software, do not use previous year versions after taking the latest ESU.
