Enabling Oracle Java 17 Runtime Support (Tools Release 9.2.26.2 and Later)

Starting with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Release 9.2.26.2, the Deployment Server supports Oracle Java 17.

To configure the Deployment Server to use Oracle Java 17:

  1. In the Server Manager Console, navigate to Deployment Server Instance, click Configuration, click Advanced, click JDE JVM, and then click JVM Configuration.

  2. In the JVM Location field, specify the path to the Oracle Java 17 JVM library (jvm.dll or libjvm.so).

  3. Leave the Runtime Java Version field set to the default value, Java17+.
