Enabling Oracle Java 17 Runtime Support (Release 9.2.26.2)

Starting with EnterpriseOne Tools Release 9.2.26.2, the Enterprise Server can run with Oracle Java 17. To use Oracle Java 17, perform the following configuration steps on the Enterprise Server instance in the Server Manager Console:

Navigate to Enterprise Server Instance > Configuration > Advanced > JDE JVM > JVM Configuration.

Set “JVM Location” to the path of the Oracle Java 17 JVM library (jmv.dll or libjvm.so) and “Runtime Java Version” at its default value of Java17+.

Note:
  • Oracle Java 17 should be enabled only when the Enterprise Server is deployed on a 64-bit Windows or 64-bit Linux operating system, and it should be used only when Server Manager Console and Web Components are running on Oracle WebLogic Server 14.1.2.0.
  • For the environments running on the prior release of Oracle WebLogic Server, they must use Java 8.
