EnterpriseOne single sign-on with Oracle Content and Experience Cloud

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne single sign-on through Oracle Access Management 11g Release 2 now supports Oauth 2.0 and also supports a single sign-on configuration with Oracle Content and Experience Cloud.

Notifications and schedules

In the Orchestrator Studio, you can create notifications that enable you to improve your business efficiency by notifying users of business events as they happen without the need for the user to be online. You can make these notifications actionable and you can also attach schedules, which define how often the system executes a notification.

See the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Notifications Guide.

See the following topic in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Using and Approving User Defined Objects Guide:

Subscriptions to notifications

In EnterpriseOne, users can use the Subscription Manager to subscribe to notifications and receive updates by email, email to SMS (Short Message Service) text message, as browser pop-up messages, through the Work Center, or on the EnterpriseOne menu bar. By subscribing to notifications, you know when key transactions or events occur without having to log in to EnterpriseOne.

Support for notifications and schedules in orchestrations

In the Orchestrator Studio, you can create a schedule and attach to an orchestration to run it periodically and automatically.

Notifications can be included as a step within an orchestration, allowing the notification to be integrated into a broader business process.

See the following topic in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Orchestrator Guide for Studio Version 8 and Prior:

Watchlist service requests in orchestrations

A Watchlist service request enables orchestrations to use information from Watchlists, such as critical and warning states, threshold levels, and number of records, within an orchestration.

See the following topic in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Orchestrator Guide for Studio Version 8 and Prior:

Database connector for orchestrations

A database connector enables orchestrations to read from and write to non-JD Edwards EnterpriseOne databases using standard SQL protocol. This enables external databases to be the source of input for orchestrations. It also allows data that is not appropriate for transaction tables to be stored for analysis, archive, or integration purposes.

See the following topic in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Orchestrator Guide for Studio Version 8 and Prior:

Data set processing in orchestrations

In the Orchestrator Studio, you can configure a form request or a data request to return a data set. You can then configure an orchestration to pass the data set to another step in an orchestration.

See the following topic in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Orchestrator Guide for Studio Version 8 and Prior:

Oauth 2.0 authorization for REST connections

Adoption of the Oauth 2.0 framework allows orchestrations to exchange REST calls and data with Oracle Cloud services and other third-party systems.

See the following topic in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Orchestrator Guide for Studio Version 8 and Prior:

AIS Client Java API 2.0.3
