Files as Orchestration Input and Output |
This enhancement expands the capabilities of Orchestrator by allowing files as orchestration input and output. A file or files can be provided directly as orchestration input by including them in a multi-part form data REST call from the system that is invoking the orchestration. The data that is collected or generated as part of an orchestration, and subsequently is written as file(s) in the AIS server temporary directory, can be included in the orchestration output. |

Removal of Groovy from the EnterpriseOne package |
Starting with Tools Release 9.2.6, the AIS Server is no longer preconfigured to create and run Groovy scripts. To edit or run existing Groovy scripts or to create new ones you must first configure the AIS servers with the Groovy libraries. This is also true for Jython. The AIS servers are preconfigured for JRuby. |

Zero Downtime Deployment for Applications |
With Tools Release 9.2.6, you can deploy packages with zero downtime. With Zero Downtime Package Deployment, customers can deploy full packages to the EnterpriseOne Enterprise and Web Servers without requiring to obtain a lock on services. After the new full package is deployed, any existing user sessions and jobs (UBEs) will continue to run off the previous package until their session completes, retaining the previous package specifications and logic. Any new user session or jobs that start after the package deployment, will run in the environment under the new package specifications and logic. |
