Installing the Microsoft Visual Studio Redistributables

All JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Windows machines receiving application foundation packages built with Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 or higher require the runtime libraries to be installed. For example, the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (vcredist_x86.exe) installs runtime components of Visual C++ required to run applications developed with Visual C++ on a computer that does not have Visual C++ 2010 compiler installed.

You must download and install the Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86).

For Tools Release 9.2.3, you must download and install the Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 2017 redistributable package.

  1. At the top of the page, click the link for the version of Visual Studio required.
  2. Click the link that contains “x64” for 64-bit EnterpriseOne.
  3. Click the link that contains “x86” for 32-bit EnterpriseOne.
  4. Run the downloaded file.
