Applying Basket-Level Pricing to Receipts

You might need to apply basket adjustments when you receive goods. For example, you might receive truckloads of construction materials such as bricks, gravel, and sand that are priced by weight. After you receive the goods, you can run the R45750 program to apply a basket adjustment to the receipt. The program applies adjustments based on the receipt adjustment definition in the adjustment schedule that is associated with the receipt's purchase order.

You can apply a basket adjustment to receipts whether or not you applied a basket adjustment to the purchase order. Processing options control whether you can reprice purchase order lines after you have received against the purchase order and whether the system allows repricing of receipt lines that have a Landed Cost Code (LAND) value of 1.
