Event/Exposure

Indicates the manner in which the injury or illness was produced or inflicted by the source of injury or illness. The values are stored in the UDC table (54HS/EV).

Nature of Injury/Illness

Indicates principal physical characteristics of the specific injury or illness. The values are stored in the UDC table (54HS/NI).

Side of Body

Indicates the side of the body where the injury is located. The values are stored in the UDC table (54HS/SB).

Severity of Injury

Indicates the severity of a specific illness or injury. The values are stored in the UDC table (54HS/SI).

Sources of Injury/Illness
