Enabling Server-Side Sign in Security

Ensure the JDE.INI file on the Enterprise Server has these settings to support sign in security:

DataSource= System – 920
SecurityServer={server name}
User=JDEPassword
Password={JDE user password}
JDE Default Role=*ALL DefaultEnvironment=PS920
History=0

After you modify the jde.ini on the Enterprise Server, you must restart the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Services so the settings can take effect.

Caution: If you have changed the database password for the JDE user, the corresponding password you specify for Enterprise Server in the JDE.INI file must be set to that changed password.
