Understanding Delivered One View Financial Statements
The JD Edwards One View Financial Statements feature provides four delivered financial statements. You can set the data selection for the statements and then run them as delivered, or you can use the delivered financial statements as models for statements that you design.
Each delivered OVFS statement includes all of the components that you need to generate a financial statement. For example, each delivered statement includes the row, column, and statement definitions, the statement versions, and the layouts required to generate the statements.
The OVFS feature provides the following delivered financial statements:

OVFS Balance Sheet by Business Unit Case Study
The OVFS Balance Sheet by Business Unit Case Study appendix describes the steps to re-create the OVFS Balance Sheet by Business Unit statement, including an analysis of how to determine what OVFS components are required to generate the desired output, and how to set up the required components. The case study also describes the formatting steps required in BI Publisher Layout Editor (Layout Editor) to generate the output for the balance sheet statement.
OVFS Consolidated Income Statement Case Study
The OVFS Consolidated Income Statement Case Study appendix describes the steps to re-create the OVFS Consolidated Income Statement, including an analysis of how to determine what OVFS components are required to generate the desired output, and how to set up the required components. The case study also describes the formatting steps required in BI Publisher Layout Editor (Layout Editor) to generate the output for the income statement.
