Understanding Statement Definition Creation

After you set up the row and column definitions that you want to include in a financial statement, you can use the Statement Definitions program (P09330) to specify which row and column definitions to include on the statement. The Revise Statement Definitions form includes these components:

• Header area

  You enter information that applies to the entire statement definition in the header area.

• Grid

  In the grid area, you create sections and enter row and column definitions.

• Selected Columns

  The Selected Columns section enables you to view the columns associated with the row you select in the grid area.
