Viewing Bills of Material Information
When you select the BOM whose information you want to view, the system displays a card with the item you selected to view, and the items and subassemblies associated with the selected item. If you set up the processing option to display them, the cards also include an image of the item.
The following list describes the actions that you can perform and the information that you can view in the visual BOM:
View cards in a larger size.
If you have a lot of items in a BOM, you might need to view each card in a larger size to see the details on the card. You can view the cards in a larger size by hovering your cursor over a card. The larger size remains on the screen only when your cursor is over the card. You can also hover your cursor over a card and then click the Isolate icon at the top of the card to view the card in a larger size. When you use the Isolate icon, the larger size remains on your screen until you click the Restore icon.
Scroll through the views.
Use the arrows on either side of a card to scroll through views. If you do not see the arrows at the bottom of each card, view the card in a larger size by hovering your cursor over the card or by clicking the Isolate icon for the card.
The fields show values from the Material Master File (F3002). The following views are available on the cards:

View subassemblies and components.
Click the Show (plus sign) and Hide (minus sign) icons to view or hide items associated with an item, if additional items exist.
Change the layout and view.
The control panel has icons that enable you to zoom in, zoom out, zoom to a size that fits the entire BOM on one page, and select a layout format. When you hover your mouse over the diagram, you can also use the scroll wheel on your computer mouse to increase and decrease the size.
Move the visual BOM.
You can hold down your left mouse button to move the image on the screen.
