Accessing Programs Associated with Bills of Material

Right-click an item's card to view a list of programs that you can access from the Visual Bill of Material program. When you access programs from the Visual Bill of Material program, the system opens the version of the program that you specified in the processing options.

The system sends the item number and branch/plant of the item to the program that you open. If you make changes to the item or bill of material in the program that you access, you can see your changes in the Visual Bill of Material after you click Refresh

You can access the following programs from the Visual Bill of Material program:

• BOM Revisions (P3002)

• ECO Workbench (P30225)

• Routing Inquiry (P3003)

• Item Master (P4101)

• Item/Branch (P41026)

• Substitutes (P3002S)

  You can access the Substitutes program from the component cards only.

• Item Availability (P41202)

• Cross Reference (P4104)

• Item Search (P41200)

• Where Used Diagram (P30002X)
