Configure Connections using Transport Layer Security (TLS) on the JDEdwards EnterpriseOne Deployment Server

If your JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Deployment Server will connect to an IBM DB2 for Linux, Unix, and Windows database (that is, an enterprise database that resides on a database server), you must install a database client. If Transport Layer Security (TLS) is configured, you will also need to import a certificate file into the local Java keystore on your Deployment Server machine.

To enable TLS, you will need to perform these tasks:
  1. Obtain the Database Client
  2. Install the Database Client
  3. Configure the Database Client
  4. Import a TLS Certificate File

To perform the above tasks, follow the same the instructions as described in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Development Client Installation Guide in the section entitled: Working with the Database Client.
