Increasing Decimal Precision of Unaccounted Units Data Items

Decimal precision differences between data items CTSx (CTS1, CTS2, CTS3, and CTS9) and TRQT may result in rounding discrepancies. Therefore, if you use the CTSx data items to store unaccounted units, Oracle recommends that you perform one of the following tasks based on your installation:

  • If you are installing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for the first time, change the display decimal setting for the CTSx data items (2 decimals) in the E920 data dictionary to match the display decimal setting for the TRQT data item (4 decimals).

  • If you have an existing installation of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, run the display decimal conversion UBE (R8931CTSX) and then change the display decimal setting for the CTSx data items (2 decimals) in the E920 data dictionary to match the display decimal setting for the TRQT data item (4 decimals).
