Setting the Link Flag (HP-UX Systems Only)

Note: This section is only applicable to UNIX systems running HP-UX.

In order to avoid Package Build failures, you must modify your JDE.INI file as described in this procedure.

To set the link flag on HP-UX systems:

1. Open the JDE.INI on your Enterprise Server using an ASCII editor such as vi.

2. Update the values of CompilerFlags setting in the [BSFN BUILD] section to change the lower case +z switch to an upper case +Z. For example:

   [BSFN BUILD]
   CompilerFlags=-Aa +Z -c
