Setting Up and Using PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface for Financials and Supply Chain Management

PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface is an alternative user interface to the PeopleSoft Classic User Interface. PeopleSoft Fluid pages are designed for used on all types of devices such as a desktop or a laptop, a tablet, and a smart phone. When accessing a PeopleSoft fluid page, the system detects the device you’re using and renders the appropriate page.

The pages and tiles in this topic were designed using PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface technology. They can be accessed from a tablet, smart phone or laptop with touch-screen capability, or from the PeopleSoft Classic platform. See PeopleTools: Fluid User Interface Developer’s Guide for more information. A PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface home page appears when you log into the system. From this home page you can view notifications, access applications, and navigate the PeopleSoft system by tapping on individual tiles. The banner at the top of the home page acts like a button. Select the title to access another home page, if you have access to multiple home pages. The tiles that appear on a home page display notification information, such as the last pay date. A tile can also be a button that accesses an application page where you can complete a business transaction.
