1.3.1 Defining PeopleSoft Asset Management Requirements

PeopleSoft Asset Management has the flexibility to integrate with any bar coding hardware. You need the following hardware to use the Physical Inventory feature:

  • Portable bar code reader

  • Bar code scanning wand

  • Thermal transfer label printer

PeopleSoft Asset Management has the flexibility to scan multiple formats of QR codes and Bar Codes using the native camera on a phone or tablet.

You need the following hardware to use the Physical Inventory feature:

  • IOS Devices - Supported for IOS versions >= 15.1
