Absence Request tile

The tile appears for an employee when an employee saves an absence request for later and is yet to be submitted. The tile appears for a manager when the manager saves a request for later on employee's behalf.

Note: The Continue With section is available based on the initiator. For example, if the manager initiates an absence request and saves for later, then it will be available only for manager and not the employee.

The tile is dismissed when the employee, the manager or the admin submits the absence request.

Extended Absence Request tile

The tile appears for an employee when an employee saves an extended absence request and is yet to be submitted. The tile appears for an absence administrator when the administrator initiates an extended absence request on employee's behalf.

Note: The Continue With section is available based on the initiator. For example, if the administrator initiates an extended absence request, then it will be available only for administrator and not the employee.

The tile is dismissed when the employee or the absence administrator submits the extended absence request.

Leave Donation tile

The tile appears when an employee saves a leave donation for later and is yet to be submitted. This is available for Donate Leave and Receive Leave Donation transactions.

Note: The Continue With section is available based on the initiator. For example, if the manager initiates a leave donation and saves for later, then it will be available only for manager and not the employee.

The tile is dismissed when the employee submits the leave donation.

Benefits Enrollment tile

The tile appears when an employee selects the Benefits Enrollment tile on the Suggestions section.

When the Open Enrollment period is over, the admin should run the Dismiss InApp Notifications process to dismiss the tile.

Note: When the admin or employee makes an update to the enrollment that dismisses the existing notification and creates a new notification then the text on the tile is updated for the employee based on the new notification.

Benefits Administration

(Life Events)

Life Event tile

(Tile name to display the Life Event Type. For example, for Marriage Event, the tile name is Marriage Event)

The tile appears when the employee initiates a Life Event.

The text on the tile gets updated each time when:

  • The employee makes an update to the Benefits Enrollment page for the Life Event.

  • The employee exits without uploading the required documents for the Life Event.

  • The admin denies the document uploaded by the employee for the Life Event.

The tile is dismissed when:

  • The employee cancels the activity guide for the Life Event.

  • The employee completes the Life Event.

  • The admin completes or cancels the Life Event activity guide for the employee.

  • The admin deletes the Life Event activity guide instance for the employee using the Manage Benefits Instance page.

  • The Life Event period is over (The End Date has surpassed for the Life Event) and the admin runs the Dismiss InApp Notifications process.

Note: When the admin or employee makes an update to the enrollment that dismisses the existing notification and creates a new notification then the text on the tile is updated for the employee based on the new notification.

The tile appears when:

  • The employee makes a dependent data change which required document upload.

  • The employee makes further dependent data changes that removes the Attachments Missing status.

  • The admin runs the Dismiss InApp Notifications process.

The tile appears when an employee saves a document. The tile displays the document's last updated date. If multiple documents are saved, the tile shows aggregated results and displays a notification count.

The tile is dismissed when:

  • The employee completes the self-evaluation,

  • The manager completes or cancels the document, or

  • The administrator cancels the document.

If the tile displays a notification count, the count decreases when the dismissal condition is met for the documents that triggered those notifications.

Team Performance Documents tile

The tile appears when a manager saves a team document. When more than one document is saved, the tile shows a count of documents that are in progress. Delegated document count is also displayed if applicable.

Documents with a status of Pending Acknowledgment, Acknowledged, or Pending Approval are excluded from this count.

The tile is dismissed when:

  • The administrator cancels the document.

  • The administrator transfers the document to another manager.

If the tile shows a document count, the tile is dismissed when all team documents of the manager are completed or canceled.

Evaluations of Others tile

The tile appears when an employee saves a document (peer evaluation). If multiple documents are saved, the tile shows aggregated results and displays a notification count.

The tile is dismissed when:

  • The employee completes the peer evaluation, or

  • The manager completes or cancels the document.

  • The administrator cancels the document.

If the tile shows a notification count, the count decreases when the dismissal condition is met for the documents that triggered those notifications.

Submit Draft Application tile

The tile appears when an internal applicant initiates a job application (but doesn't complete it). Selecting this tile takes the user to My Job Applications page of Candidate Gateway from where they will see only Drafted Applications and can continue with their application.

The tile is dismissed when:

  • The applicant submits the application and the application is no longer in drafted status.

  • The applicant withdraws the drafted application.

  • The applicant fails pre-screening for a drafted application.

  • The close date of job posting has reached and the admin runs the Dismiss InApp Notifications process.

  • The applicant selects the Dismiss button on the View All page or Edit button on the Continue With section.

Job Opening tile

The tile appears on the Continue With section of the Landing Page when a Hiring Manager or a user who does not have access to the Recruiting Dashboard creates a job opening and saves it as draft. Selecting this tile takes the user to the drafted job opening from where they can continue with their transaction.

This tile is dismissed when:

  • The user submits the job opening.

  • The user deletes the job opening.

  • The user selects the Dismiss button on the View All page or Edit button on the Continue With section.

Note: If the Hiring Manager has access to the Recruiting Dashboard then this notification is created on the Recruiter's Continue With Section of the Recruiting Dashboard and not on the Landing Page.

Job Offer tile

The tile appears on the Continue With section of the Landing page when a Hiring Manager or a user who does not have access to the Recruiting Dashboard saves a job offer as a draft. Selecting this tile takes the user to the drafted job offer from where they can continue with their transaction.

This tile is dismissed when:

  • The user submits the drafted job offer.

  • The user selects the Dismiss button on the View All page or Edit button on the Continue With section.

Note: If the Hiring Manager has access to the Recruiting Dashboard then notification will just be created on the Recruiter's Continue With Section of the Recruiting Dashboard and not on Landing Page.

The tile appears when the employee saves a time entry for later or when a manager saves a time entry on employee's behalf. The time entry is yet to be submitted.

Note: The Continue With section is available based on the initiator. For example, if the manager saves a time entry for later, then it will be available only for manager and not the employee.

The tile is dismissed when a saved time entry is submitted by an employee, manager, or admin.
