Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that gives AI agents a consistent way to work with external systems, tools, and data.

PeopleSoft provides MCP server support to enable AI agents and AI-powered applications to interact with PeopleSoft through MCP tools, using delivered and customer-defined APIs. These APIs can represent PeopleSoft business objects, business logic, services, and search capabilities, giving customers a standards-based way to expose PeopleSoft functionality to AI-driven experiences.
