Working with the Insights Search Group

PeopleTools provides the search definition, PTSF_INSIGHTS, which enables you to index the imported and deployed dashboards.

Search Framework provides an efficient means to search for dashboards or visualizations in the Insights search group based on their title, description, and panel label. When you search for dashboards or visualizations, Search Framework displays search suggestions. You notice that the title of the dashboard appears in the search suggestions. The description of the dashboard is also included in the additional details. If a description is not available, then the additional details remain blank.

Note:

Users with Edit or View permissions for a specific visualization and the Search Administrator can search and view the dashboards.
