Testing Connectivity

Access the Test Connectivity page (select PeopleTools, and then Security, and then Directory, and then Configure LDAP Directories and click the Test Connectivity tab).

The page displays the results (SUCCESS or FAIL) of the connectivity test. If connectivity fails, modify the connect information on the Directory Setup and Additional Connect DN’s pages.

Running Bind Tests
Host: nnn.nn.nnn.nnn
DN:cn=admin,o=config
Result: SUCCESS

Running Search Tests
Host: nnn.nn.nnn.nnn
Reading RootDSE: SUCCESS
Reading Schema: FAIL
