Troubleshooting Event Based Rewards
Following are key troubleshooting steps to resolve common issues related to Event Based Rewards processing in Siebel Loyalty.
- In the Siebel logs directory, review related log files, such as the
LoyEngineEventRewardcomponent logs, to check the Event Rewards related logs, component-specific log files, and server machine logs for detailed debugging of any issues related to Event Rewards. - Use this server manager command to change the log level to maximum:
change evtloglvl %= 5 for comp LoyEngineEventReward. - Ensure that the Event is set to Active in order for members to receive rewards.
- Set the cooling off value appropriately to prevent awarding duplicate rewards to the same member.
- If a member already has an event reward transaction for a specific event within the cooling off period, they will not receive the reward again.
