About Outbound PROXY Services

Oracle Customer Hub (UCM) can publish message in XML or JSON format, based on Message Type specified for each registered system. For systems with SOAP Message Type, UCM publishes the message in XML format; for systems with JSON Message Type, UCM publishes the message in JSON format.

In middleware mode, if you are configuring UCM to consume an external web service (or REST service) from the middleware systems, the systems registered as middleware must use PROXY Protocol Type, the proxy business service and business service method supplied in System Registrations view; otherwise, they should have the transport information supplied.
