5 Starter Configuration

The Starter Configuration is a ready-to-use configuration applied to your dev or test environment, developed using Oracle Modern Best Practice business processes. It is designed to showcase how end-to-end business flows work in Oracle Cloud Applications.

Starter Configuration helps you implement faster with confidence. It applies a ready-to-use configuration to your dev or test environment so you can run end-to-end flows built on OMBPs. With prebuilt, role-based scenarios and sample data, teams can validate scope, align on decisions, and experience key processes before they build. Paired with in-app learning—process descriptions, diagrams, step guides, short videos, and commonly used KPIs and reports—it reduces ramp time and turns exploration into execution.

Success Navigator's access to OMBP resources complements your Starter Configuration with videos, step guides, and diagrams so you you can familiarize yourself with business process models, persona definitions, use cases, and more. AI Assist for OMBP can answer natural-language questions and guide you to next steps. You can use default prompts or enter your own questions.

  • Reduce time-to-value by using ready-to-run scenarios and role-based guidance.
  • Improve stakeholder alignment with common reference data, prebuilt personas, and clear KPIs.
