Change the Order of Plan Groups

You can change the order of built-in and user-defined plan groups.

Note:

The option to move Prechecks-Built in is disabled as this plan group must always be the very first plan group and it cannot be moved.

Note:

Oracle recommends that you do not reorder the sequence of built-in plan groups. Built-in plan groups are ordered using an optimal sequence and changing this order can cause undesirable side-effects and even failures when the DR plan is executed. Oracle recommends that you restrict reordering to changing the sequence of user-defined groups. See Default Order of DR Plan Groups for more information.

1. Navigate to the DR protection group with the standby role.
2. Click Plans to list the DR plans for the DR protection group.
3. Click the name of the plan that you want to change.
4. Click Plan groups to display the sequential list of plan groups.
5. Select Reorder groups and steps.
6. Locate the plan group you want to change, then click the three-dots Action menu on right side.
7. Select Move up and Move down from the menu to move the plan groups to the target location.
8. Select the Publish changes to update the changes. A summary of all the changes is displayed which includes the number of reordered groups.
9. Select Cancel to cancel the update.
10. Click Update to save the new order of the plan groups.
