Preparing Integration Instance for Disaster Recovery
Perform the following prerequisites before adding Integration Instance to the disaster recovery topology.
Ensure that you have access to the OCI console and you meet all the requirements to create a Disaster Recovery Protection Group.
- Oracle Integration 3 provides a native disaster recovery feature. See Configuring an Oracle-Managed Disaster Recovery Solution for Oracle Integration 3 for more details.
- Full Stack DR additionally allows you to incorporate the Oracle Integration 3 instance into a larger DR protection configuration with other resources.
- Full Stack DR supports only switchover and failover for integration instances.
- Create an Oracle Integration Instance.
- Enable the native cross-region disaster recovery feature for the integration instance. You must do this first before you add the integration instance to a DR protection group.
