Enable Auto Insights on Datasets

Administrators use this system setting to specify whether the Auto Insights feature is available when datasets are created or modified.

This system setting applies only to data visualizations and workbooks. It doesn’t apply to analyses, dashboards, or pixel-perfect reports.

Valid Values

• On — The Enable Insights option is available in the Dataset Inspect dialog and insights are automatically generated and available for workbooks that use datasets with the Enable Insights option selected. Default
• Off — Auto Insights and its related features are disabled.
