Sort Logical Columns Alphabetically

The table column order is preserved when you add a physical table to the logical layer. In some cases, the column order is random. In the logical layer, you can reorder a logical table's columns alphabetically so that they are easier to find in the column list.

1. On your home page, click Navigator and then click Semantic Models.
2. In the Semantic Models page, click a semantic model to open it.
3. Click Logical Layer .
4. In the Logical Layer pane, browse for and double-click the table where you want to sort columns.
5. In the logical table, click the Columns tab.
6. Click Reorder Columns Alphabetically to change the column sort order.
7. Click Save.
