PDF Template Properties

The properties described in the table below can be set to govern PDF templates.

Remove PDF fields from output

 Specify "true" to remove PDF fields from the output. When PDF fields are removed, data entered in the fields cannot be extracted.

For repeating fields, the value of this property is set to true by default and cannot be changed to false.

Set all fields as read only in output

By default, Publisher sets all fields in the output PDF of a PDF template to be read only. If you want to set all fields to be updatable, set this property to "false".

true all-field-readonly

Maintain each field's read only setting

 Set this property to "true" if you want to maintain the "Read Only" setting of each field as defined in the PDF template. This property overrides the settings of "Set all fields as read only in output."
