Connect to an Oracle NetSuite Analytics Data Source

In Oracle Analytics, you can connect to an Oracle NetSuite Analytics data source.

Pre-requisites
  • In Oracle NetSuite Analytics, you need access to the NetSuite OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials Setup page and permission to create a client-credentials mapping on the Setup page.
  1. On your home page, click Create, and then click Connection.
  2. Click Oracle NetSuite Analytics.

  3. In Connection Name, enter a user-friendly display name and description.
  4. In Authentication Type, make sure that OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials is selected.
  5. Click Generate and Download Public Key.
Oracle Analytics Cloud generates the key material that you use to configure the client-credentials mapping in NetSuite.
  6. In NetSuite Analytics, under Setup, open OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials Setup and create a client-credentials mapping.

  7. Under Certificate, click Choose a file and select the NetSuite Analytics PEM file that you generated in Step 5, then save the details.

  8. In Netsuite Analytics, record the certificate ID that NetSuite assigns to the client-credentials mapping.

  9. Return to the Oracle Analytics Create Connection dialog, and enter the NetSuite certificate ID in Certificate ID.
  10. In Account ID, enter the NetSuite account ID.
To find your NetSuite Analytics account ID, go to Setup > Company > Company Information. Alternatively, you can copy the NetSuite account ID from the URL of the NetSuite Analytics web session.
  11. Click Save.
  12. Open the connection and create a dataset. Confirm that you can browse the NetSuite data.
