Configure the Properties for Overlay Chart Layers
Customize the appearance of individual layers in an overlay chart to improve readability and emphasize different aspects of your data.
The Layers tab in the Properties pane contains settings that apply to individual layers rather than the overlay chart as a whole. The available properties depend on the visualization type used by the layer.

You can configure the properties for the chart as a whole using the other tabs in the Properties pane.
- On your home page, hover over a workbook, click Actions, and select Open.
- Click the overlay chart to select it.
- Click Properties, then click Layers
. - Expand the layer that you want to configure.
- Update the available properties for the layer type.
- Click Save.
