Create a Custom Canvas Layout Template

Create a custom canvas layout template by arranging visualizations on a canvas to suit your organization’s needs.

You must have the Create and Edit Shared Layouts permission to create canvas layout templates. Your administrator manages permissions.

1. On your home page, hover over a workbook, click Actions, and select Open.
2. In the Data panel, click Visualizations.
3. Drag the visualization types you want to include in your layout template to the canvas and arrange them on the canvas.
4. Right-click the canvas tab and click Save As Shared Layout.
5. In Name, give your template a meaningful name.
6. Click Save.
