Make a Filter Group Shareable (Preview)

Use these steps to make an existing filter group shareable.

You can turn a filter group from the filter bar or a filter group being used a visualization filter into a shared filter group.

When you add a filter group to the Shared Objects folder in the Data pane, both show green dots on their names to indicate your changes aren't saved and the filter group isn't available from other workbooks yet.

  1. On your home page, hover over a workbook, click Actions, then select Open.
  2. Drag the filter group to the Shared Objects folder in the Data pane.

  3. Click Save, then click Save Shared Objects.
