About Shared Filter Groups (Preview)

In Oracle Analytics, you can make filter groups shareable to easily reuse them in different workbooks.

Shared filter groups are available for preview. Ask your administrator to turn on the Enable Shared Filter Groups in Workbooks option in System Settings. See Preview Options.

To make filter groups shareable so that others can use them, you add the filter group to the Shared Objects folder of the workbook's dataset or subject area. As a shared object, it's accessible from any other workbooks that use the same dataset or subject area.

When you modify a shared filter group, the changes affect any workbooks that are using it.

Consumers can't modify or unlink shared filter groups.
