About Presentation Settings
You can configure presentation settings to control how consumers view and interact with a workbook.
Presentation settings let you customize the consumer view without changing the workbook design. For example, you can hide canvases or visualizations, control which visualization actions consumers can use, hide the filter bar, and change the order of canvases.
By default, the consumer view uses all of the workbook's canvases, visualizations, filters, and so on. If you want to refine the workbook based on your consumers’ needs, you can configure the presentation settings to provide the best navigation and level of interactivity.
If you want to change the workbook content, for example add a visualization, then you need to use the workbook editor. Changes you make to the workbook design in the workbook editor are available in the consumer view. But changes that you make to the presentation settings aren't applied to the workbook design in the workbook editor.
