Use Vector Map Layers in Map Visualizations

In Oracle Analytics, you can use vector layers on a map visualization to render large or complex polygon boundaries. For example, you can use a vector layer on a map to show the polygonal boundaries for postal codes, districts, parcels, or grids across a country.

Vector layers stream database-generated tiles directly from Oracle AI Database through Oracle REST Data Services. These vector tiles provide a compact, web-optimized format that delivers only the portion of the map needed at each zoom level.
