Change the Knowledge Base Embedding Model

If you are trying different embedding models for the knowledge base, you can change the embedding model. Note that you can only change the embedding model in a knowledge base when there are no documents in the knowledge base. If you want to compare the results with different embedding models, create separate knowledge bases and assign different models to each.

1. In the navigation pane, select Projects.
2. Select the project that contains your knowledge base.
3. In the left navigation pane, select Knowledge Base .
4. In the Knowledge Base section, select the knowledge base for which you want to manage documents.
   The Knowledge base details page is displayed with all documents currently in the knowledge base.
5. Select all documents in the knowledge base and click Delete.
6. Click Back to return to the Knowledge base page.
7. Next to the knowledge base you want to edit, click Actions , then select Edit.
   The Edit knowledge base page is displayed.
8. In the Embedding model field, select a different model to use for the knowledge base.
9. Click Update.
