2 Before You Install the Recipe

You must perform the following configuration tasks on your Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Oracle ERP Cloud instances in order to successfully connect to these external systems using Oracle Integration import purchase orders from Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to Oracle ERP Cloud.

Configure Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

To configure Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, see Prerequisites for Creating a Connection. Also, import the zip file into the Orchestrator Studio and configure the REST connection.

  1. Import the zip file into the Orchestrator Studio.
    1. Sign in to the Orchestrator Studio. (You can access EnterpriseOne from the Tools page in the Studio.)
    2. Click the Tools link in the upper right corner.
    3. Select Import/Export, and import the following zip file: LaunchOICG3Flow.zip.
  2. Configure the REST connection.
    1. In Orchestrator studio, click the Tools link.
    2. On the Tools page, click the Connections icon.
    3. Click the REST connection and enter details for the following fields in the Connection Information area:
      • Name: Enter the name of the REST Connection. For example, OICRESTENDPOINT.
      • Description: Enter a short description of the connection.
      • Type: Select REST.
      • User/Role: Enter *PUBLIC.
      • Environment: Enter the environment of your Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne instance.
    4. On the Service Information tab, enter the OIC REST trigger URL in the Endpoint field.
    5. On the Security tab, enter the following details.
      Field Information to Enter
      Security Policy Select a security policy based on your Oracle Integration orchestration REST adapter configuration. For example, Basic Authorization.
      Username Enter the username of your Oracle Integration account.
      Password Enter the password of your Oracle Integration account.

Configure Oracle ERP Cloud

To access the Oracle ERP Cloud instance from Oracle Integration, you'll require a separate user account on Oracle ERP Cloud.

Note:

To run this recipe, you must have set up tax regimes on your Oracle ERP Cloud instance according to your organization’s requirements. See Tax Regimes.

Log in to your Oracle ERP Cloud instance as an Administrator and perform the following tasks.

  1. Create a user account for Oracle Integration. Make a note of the user name and password you set for the account. You'll use the credentials of this user account to connect to Oracle ERP Cloud from Oracle Integration.
  2. Assign the following roles to the user account. For more information, see Assign Required Roles to an Integration User.
    • Integration Specialist
    • Oracle ERP Cloud-specific data access to the integration user
