Prerequisites for AI-assisted Self-Healing Robots

Ensure you note the following prerequisites for the AI-assisted self-heal feature to work correctly.

Describe the context

Provide appropriate context in the description when you create the robot.

Provide business context, end-user context to describe the business action being performed and describe your robot in a clear and simple way so the AI understands it well. Explain what the robot does, how it works, and who it helps. Mention the tasks it handles, the tools or data it can use, and any limits or rules it must follow. This helps the AI generate more accurate, relevant, and reliable recommendations when errors occur.

For example:

Scenario: The robot helps test a website’s Login page. On some screens, the main action button is labeled Submit, and on others it is labeled Login. The robot should understand that both labels mean the same action: sending the login form.

Expected behavior:When the button label changes from Submit to Login, the robot should not fail. Instead, it should recognize the button by its purpose, confirm it is the correct action button, and continue with the login flow.

See Create a Robot.

The Enable AI Assistant option must be selected in the AI Settings page

It is selected by default but verify in case you have deselected it as the AI-assisted self-heal feature will not be available unless you select the Enable AI Assistant option before you activate a robot. For more information, see Enable or Disable AI Features in Using Integrations in Oracle Integration 3.

Note:

  • If you select the Enable AI Assistant option before you activate a robot, the AI assisted self heal to correct XPath issues check box will display when activate the robot and the AI-assisted self-heal checks will be enabled for the robot.

  • If you deselect the Enable AI Assistant option after a robot is activated with the AI assisted self heal to correct XPath issues check box selected, the AI-assisted self-heal will no longer work and will display an error message: Self-heal recommendations are unavailable because AI-features is not enabled for this service instance. Check the AI Settings page and, if already enabled, try disabling and enabling it again.

  • If you deselect the Enable AI Assistant option before a robot is activated, the AI assisted self heal to correct XPath issues check box will not display when you activate the robot.
