Migrate from WSDL-Based to New Salesforce Adapter Connections
Unlike WSDL-based connections, which require regenerating and reimporting the enterprise WSDL after object or field changes, a new Salesforce Adapter connection allows you to simply refresh metadata, eliminating manual steps and greatly reducing integration maintenance.

Migration Steps
- Create a new Salesforce Adapter connection.
- In Oracle Integration, create a new connection using the Salesforce Adapter. See Create a Connection.
- Replace the existing WSDL connection in your integration.
- In the navigation pane, click Design, then Integrations.
- Select the integration currently using the WSDL connection.
- Click Actions
, and then Configure.
- In the Configuration Editor, click
Replace
.
- Select the new Salesforce Adapter connection you created.
- Click Save.
- Refresh the integration endpoints:
- In the navigation pane, click Design, then Integrations.
- Select the updated integration.
- Click Actions
, and select Refresh Endpoints.
A confirmation message indicates a successful refresh.
- Once the refresh is successful, activate the integration.
