Before You Install the Recipe

Perform the following configuration tasks on your Oracle CPQ, SharePoint, and Adobe Sign instances to connect to the systems through Oracle Integration and upload signed documents from Oracle CPQ to SharePoint using Adobe Sign.

Configure Oracle CPQ

Configure Oracle CPQ to enable Oracle Integration to retrieve and synchronize Oracle CPQ data.

Log in to your Oracle CPQ instance as an administrator to complete the following tasks.

  1. Obtain the SOAP WSDL from the Oracle CPQ site.

Oracle Integration uses the Oracle CPQ transaction WSDL to identify the valid data and operations that Oracle CPQ provides. For details, see Prerequisites for Creating a Connection in Using the Oracle CPQ Adapter with Oracle Integration 3.

  2. Obtain the Oracle CPQ REST catalog URL.

The URL is used to access Oracle CPQ business resources for outbound connections. It is in the following format:

    http(s)://site_URL/rest/v3/metadata-catalog

In this URL, site_URL is the base URL of the Oracle CPQ site. For details, see Prerequisites for Creating a Connection in Using the Oracle CPQ Adapter with Oracle Integration 3.

  3. Create an Oracle Integration user account with Web Services Only permissions.
    1. On the Oracle CPQ home page, click Admin Drawer.
    2. In the Admin navigation pane, expand Users, then click Internal Users.

The User Administration List page is displayed.
