Before You Install the Recipe

You must perform the following configuration tasks on your ATP and Oracle Fusion Cloud instances in order to successfully connect to these external systems using Oracle Integration and import employee vacation and delegation rules report.

  1. Log in to your ATP instance as an Administrator and perform the following tasks.
    1. Perform general configuration tasks. See Prerequisites for Creating a Connection in Using the Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing Adapter with Oracle Integration 3.
    2. Create necessary objects by running the following script.

  2. Log in to your Oracle Fusion Cloud instance and enable vacation period.
    1. Click the bell icon on the top right and then choose More Details.
    2. Click the Worklist.
    3. From the opened Worklist, click the icon on the top right, and choose Preferences.
    4. Select the Enable vacation period checkbox.
    5. Choose the Start Date and End Date.
    6. Select either Reassign to or Delegation to radio button.
    7. Click the Magnify icon and search for the user to whom you want to reassign or delegate the tasks.
    8. Click Save.
  3. Create a user account for Oracle Integration on Oracle ERP Cloud. Make a note of the user name and password you set for the account. You’ll use the credentials of this user account to connect to Oracle ERP Cloud from Oracle Integration.
