Shows the steps to view metrics for Autonomous AI Database in a compartment.

View Autonomous AI Database Metrics for Databases in a Compartment

1. Sign in to your Oracle Cloud Account at cloud.oracle.com.

2. Click the menu icon in the top corner to display the navigation menu, then click Monitoring and then click Service Metrics.

3. If needed, switch to the region hosting the Autonomous AI Databases whose metrics you want to view.

   See Switching Regions for information on switching regions and working in multiple regions.

4. If needed, switch to the compartment hosting the Autonomous AI Databases whose metrics you want to view.

   See Understanding Compartments for information on using and managing compartments.

5. Under Metric Namespace select oci_autonomous_database.

6. Specify Dedicated as the deploymentType dimension.

   1. Next to Dimensions select Add.

   2. In the Dimension Name field select deploymentType.

   3. In the Dimension Value field select Dedicated.

   4. Click Done.

7. If there are multiple Autonomous AI Databases in the compartment you can show metrics aggregated across the Autonomous AI Databases by selecting Aggregate Metric Streams.

8. If you want to limit the metrics you see, add more dimensions.

To create an alarm on a specific metric, click Options and select Create an Alarm on this Query. See Managing Alarms for information on setting and using alarms.
